Since ancient times Indian Music and dance have attended a high degree of excellence from both technical and aesthetical point of view and it has been noticed and aclaimed all over the world. The great sages and saints of India have found in these classical arts - the supreme value Indian culture. As a result of which - music, dance and art have profoundly influenced their entire existance, emotions and feelings of the people with the passage of time. These arts had however, occasionally suffered various turmoil and had denied adequate patronage. These charged our connoisseurs intensity and they felt an utter necessity and a wide need for establishing an independent institution for un-earthing, refreshing and promoting the ancient unique tradition of sound and scientific lines.

Being crowned with this thought, Bharati Kala Kendra was born in lucknow in 90th decades. Bharati Kala Kendra was registered at Lucknow under the Register Society's Act 1860, vide No. 8215 of 2002.

Apart from the objectives already mentioned, we like to provide adequate facilities for training, research and conducting examinations in music (vocal and instrumental), dance, art & craft and Yoga in a symmetric manner. Also we intend to organize regular performance by both renowned and upcoming artists from all over the country.

Since this inspiration, Bharati Kala Kendra has been trying hard for promoting and propagating Indian Traditional music & art. Gradually it has achieved an unexpected success in all its field sand now it can fairly be said that, at present, it is one of the leading institutions in its arena.
